The life of Janab Thangal Kunju Musaliar, the founder of TKM College trust, belongs to this fraternity. Janab Thangal Kunju Musaliar carved a niche for himself in the annals of Kerala’s socio-economic life in the 20th century. He was a philanthropist, business magnate, industrialist, educationist, writer and publisher, nationalist, social reformer and above all, an ideal human being worthy to be emulated. Janab Musaliar was among the earliest to respond to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s clarion call to building up a modern India. Identifying that education is the best foundation in the process of nation building; he made a great contribution to the process through the foundation of ‘TKM College Trust’. His extraordinary vision led to the birth of TKM College of Engineering in 1956
