enlightening future, post retirement. This is a super actualization need.

The above was very true with the Founder President of Club Millennium TKM 60:plus too.

Jacob Varghese joined TKM College of Engineering in the year 1960 and graduated in Mechanical
Engineering by the year 1965. Further he attained M. Tech (Management & Systems ) from IIT Delhi.
His academic excellence led him to teaching at CET Thiruvananthapuram, for four years after
graduation. This was followed by career in oil industry management for 3 decades and a couple of
years as Professor in the University of Petroleum &  Energy Studies.

Among various fields of experience, he had a decade of memorable career in Corporate Planning
department in Indian Oil Corporation, especially as Head of Department for two years. The seeds of
such a club was sown in his mind during this period.

On retirement, he was pondering among his close batch mates of alma matter with clear vision and
ambition for establishing the Club Millennium TKM 60 Plus. With the able support of all friends of
TKM and the blessings from the TKM Trust, the club came into existence in the year 2010.
